I’ve been around vwmare and esx products for a few years now so I’m not used to error messages from servers as often as if i were still installing windows on physical servers on a daily basis.
Therefore it took me by complete surprise to see this error message when I came into work one monday morning.
Now I know exactly what i did wrong, so its not as if I don’t know how to prevent it. But if you want a bad magic screen shot for your blog, start to install ESX on a host on a friday afternoon and leave it at the install screen over the weekend and you too can have the best error message I’ve ever seen in IT.
